A fantastic and increasingly rare late 18th century Georgian small chest of drawers, offering both the elegance of period furniture and the practicality needed for modern living.

Wonderfully proportioned, this charming chest is the perfect size for use as a nightstand, lamp table, or accent piece, while retaining all the character and craftsmanship expected from a genuine Georgian antique.

The top is crafted from solid mahogany, while the drawer fronts and sides feature a combination of beautifully figured burled wood veneers and delicate satinwood inlays. Finely beveled edges, a slightly overhanging top, and wide angled front corners all demonstrate the attention to detail and quality of craftsmanship that made Georgian furniture so highly regarded.

The chest is fitted with three large drawers and a smaller top drawer, each adorned with brass pulls and escutcheons. Raised on rounded bun feet, it possesses a pleasing balance of elegance and functionality that allows it to fit effortlessly into both traditional and contemporary interiors.
