Art Nouveau Leaded Slag Glass Floral Table Lamp
A striking antique Art Nouveau table lamp featuring a beautifully shaped leaded slag glass shade with bold floral decoration and a sculptural metal base.
The shade is composed of creamy ivory slag glass panels accented with rich green leaves, warm orange and coral flowers, and darker red textured glass along the decorative scalloped lower edge. When illuminated, the colors become especially vibrant, creating a wonderfully warm and dramatic glow.
The tall, flared metal base has a distinctly Art Nouveau silhouette, with flowing organic lines and stylized botanical detailing near the foot. The naturally aged surface and patina of the metal beautifully complement the rich colors and handcrafted appearance of the glass shade.
Together, the base and shade create an elegant period look that works beautifully in traditional, Arts & Crafts, Victorian, Art Nouveau, or eclectic interiors. At 22" tall with a substantial 16" diameter shade, this is an impressive decorative lamp with plenty of presence whether illuminated or not.
Condition
Good antique condition with age-related wear and patina consistent with its age.
There are some cracks in the glass, shown in images #15 and #16. The metal base displays surface wear and oxidation, adding to its authentic aged character.
