Antique Queen Victoria Diamond Jubilee Mug, Doulton Burslem, 1897
A wonderful piece of British history, this antique commemorative mug was produced in Burslem, England in 1897 by Doulton to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria.
The Diamond Jubilee was celebrated in June 1897, marking 60 years of Queen Victoria's reign. This particular mug commemorates the celebrations held at Arundel Park in West Sussex, making it an especially interesting survivor from the occasion.
Produced during the period of Henry Doulton and before the company became Royal Doulton in 1901, the mug offers a fascinating connection to both British royal history and the history of one of England's best-known pottery manufacturers.

Condition
Very good antique condition, particularly considering its age.
The exterior displays age-related crazing, while the interior appears to have seen very little use and remains remarkably clean.
