A beautiful pair of decorative shoe clips dating to circa 1900, intricately fashioned from cut steel and layered leather and marked "Holfast" to the underside.
Each clip features an elaborate arrangement of faceted cut-steel rivets, carefully mounted across three layers of contrasting black and silver leather. The numerous polished steel elements would originally have caught and reflected the light beautifully, adding a touch of sparkle and sophistication to a lady's shoes.
