Manchester Manufacturing Co. Sterling Silver Ladle, c.1904–1914
A lovely antique sterling silver ladle by Manchester Manufacturing Co. of Providence, Rhode Island, dating to the early 20th century.
The ladle bears the distinctive Manchester Manufacturing Co. maker's mark featuring the letter “M” within a shield flanked by two birds, alongside the word “Sterling.” This particular mark was used between 1904 and 1914, providing a relatively narrow production period for the piece.
At 5 1/2" long, this elegant smaller ladle is beautifully proportioned for serving sauces, condiments, preserves, or other accompaniments. Its simple sterling silver design makes it equally at home with antique or contemporary tableware.
A wonderful surviving example of early 20th-century American silver and an attractive addition to a collection of antique serving pieces.

Overall, the ladle is in fantastic condition for its age, with only minor surface scratches from use over time.
