Designed as a journey through the cosmos, Terris described the composition as “A voyage through time and space symbolized by a Ruby sphere suspended above a blue tinted planet surface.” The design beautifully captures that vision, with a vibrant ruby-pink sphere appearing to float above a rich blue planetary landscape within the clear glass.

The combination of intense blue and pink creates a dramatic sense of depth and movement, changing beautifully as the paperweight is viewed from different angles and catches the light.

Hand-blown by Caithness Glass in Scotland, this example is individually numbered 332 from a limited edition of only 1,000 pieces, adding to its appeal for collectors of Scottish art glass and Colin Terris designs.

Condition

Very good vintage condition.

There are no chips or cracks. One small scratch is present on the base, as shown in photograph #9, but otherwise the paperweight presents beautifully.
