Pair of Antique Victorian Ladies' Parlor Chairs
A charming complementary pair of late 19th-century Victorian ladies' sitting chairs, beautifully suited to a bedroom, dressing room, parlor, or fireside setting. Although slightly different in form, the two chairs have been thoughtfully united through matching upholstery, creating a coordinated pair with authentic collected-over-time character.
Each chair is low in profile with a generously upholstered seat and graceful proportions typical of Victorian bedroom and parlor furniture. The frames are raised on short turned mahogany front legs and curved rear legs terminating in small caster wheels, allowing the chairs to be moved easily while preserving their elegant period appearance.
Both chairs have been newly upholstered in the same refined damask fabric in soft shades of dusky pink, gray, and beige. The understated palette complements the warm aged tone of the mahogany legs while allowing the subtle differences between the two chair forms to remain part of their charm.

Condition
Very good antique condition.
Both chairs are strong, sturdy, and structurally sound. The wooden legs display a warm, naturally aged patina with minor age-appropriate wear, marks, and imperfections consistent with their history. These gentle signs of age contribute to their authentic old-world character and charm.
The newer damask upholstery remains in like-new condition, and the seat padding is strong, supportive, and comfortable.
