Vintage 1978 Royal Crown Derby Red Aves Bone China Cup & Saucer – England

A beautiful vintage Royal Crown Derby cup and saucer in the highly collectible Red Aves pattern, featuring the distinctive bird and floral decoration for which this elegant English china is known.

Made in England from fine bone china, the set features richly colored red-orange birds surrounded by delicate flowers and scrolling foliage against a crisp white background. Fine gilt detailing along the rims and handle adds a lovely finishing touch.

The cup has a graceful, slightly tapered shape, widening gently toward the rim. Its compact proportions and beautifully detailed decoration make it equally attractive for serving tea or coffee or displaying in a china cabinet.

First introduced in 1936, the Red Aves pattern (A.74) remained in production until 1997 and continues to be appreciated by collectors of Royal Crown Derby porcelain.

Dating to 1978, this charming set is a lovely example of traditional English craftsmanship. Multiple sets are available, with each purchase including one cup and one matching saucer.

Very good vintage condition, with only minor age-appropriate wear, if any.
