Vintage Burts Cason Hollywood Regency Table Lamp with Cherubs & Original Shade
A wonderfully theatrical 1980s Hollywood Regency table lamp by Burts Cason, combining classical architectural details with a glamorous cream-and-gold finish.
The tall column-style body is topped with an elaborate Ionic-style capital decorated with scrolling volutes and sculptural cherubs, giving the lamp a bold neoclassical presence. The combination of the cream ceramic column and aged metallic detailing creates an elegant, architectural look with plenty of decorative impact.
The original cream-colored shade with metallic gold trim completes the design beautifully and casts a warm, elegant glow when illuminated. Beneath the shade are two lights, each independently operated by its own pull chain, providing both practical lighting and a wonderfully symmetrical appearance.
Signed “Burts Cason” at the base, this is a distinctive designer lamp with plenty of statement appeal — perfect for a grandmillennial, Hollywood Regency, neoclassical, traditional, or eclectic interior.
Condition
Very good vintage condition.
There is slight age-related wear, patina, surface marking, and variation to the finish consistent with age and use. The original shade also displays the natural signs of age expected of a vintage piece.
