Hand-Painted Porcelain Three-Piece Tea Set with Floral Decoration
A beautiful three-piece porcelain tea set with a wonderfully romantic appearance, consisting of a lidded teapot, lidded sugar bowl, and coordinating creamer.
Each piece has an ornate sculptural form with graceful curves and decorative detailing. The crisp white porcelain is accented with a soft, subdued pale green ground and hand-painted with delicate blue flowers, green foliage, and subtle touches of purple.
The combination of the unusual forms, soft coloring, and hand-painted decoration gives this set an elegant, almost whimsical quality. Whether used for afternoon tea or displayed on a dresser, sideboard, or china cabinet, it is a lovely decorative set with plenty of character.
The creamer is signed "Vuknic 73." We have been unable to find further information regarding the signature or artist and therefore make no attribution.
